I'm pretty tech savvy, and I've never seen a driver appear this size before.

Hello Des and welcome to the forum.
Agreed that is just wrong. What is the source of that particular file you are referring to as a "driver".
AND
I thought windows update had fixed the issues with that particular problem with windows 10.
