I have Windows 10 (legally) on several M.2 SSDs and hard disks. The builds I HAD (have?) were 14393 (so-called "Anniversity"), 14393.187, and several showing (winver 14393.222). All devices were updated by normal update protocol. I received no error messages. All updatings went (seemingly) smoothly and without problems. After updating, winver showed 14393.222 on all devices. I built an ISO from the Install.esd. No problems whatsoever. Using DISM commands, both .esd & .iso revealed Build 14396. There was no .wim to check. I do not see this as any sort of BIG DEAL! So far, whatever build is now operating, has shown MINISCULE glitches which have caused no problems for my usage. Being quite meticulous by nature, I would simply like to know how winver reveals an upgrade to be 14393.222, when the .esd and .iso (built from the .esd) reveal 14396.1 (or .1000, take take your pick). Any replies appreciated. If the reply is that the answer to the "problem?" is obvious, and should have easily been ascertained,so be it. I am far from a Windows 10 "dummy" - or so I thought. Maybe I'm getting too old and regressing. Thanks in advance for ANY TYPE responses.
