when first command entered get reply reset failed access is deniedHello and welcome to the forum.
Try rebuilding the winsock catalog and the TCP/IP stack and see if that helps
Right click the Start Button and choose Command Prompt (admin) then type
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt
hit enter
netsh Winsock reset
hit enter
exit
hit enter
reboot your computer.
get same result on both.resetting failed.access is denied was repleyThe commands require that they be input, using an administrative command prompt.
If you are using an admin command prompt then you may be having trouble saving the resetlog.txt file to its' default location.
Try
netsh int ip reset C:\resetlog.txt
If that fails also then you may not be a member of the local admin group.
You could always try
netsh int ip reset
See if either of those work.
i uninstalled the update.this did not fix it either.I'd try uninstalling the update and see if you get your connection back. A quick reddit search shows a few others that have that and other issues. All microsoft says is it's supposed to improve the OOBE (out of box experience).
If uninstalling it works, I'd hide it. It doesn't appear to be a security update.
did a system restore to a restore point from 11 days ago.this fixed it.but up date still shows up set to be installed'.need to figure out how to stop this.i uninstalled the update.this did not fix it either.
