SOLVED KB3135173 v1511 x64 update

Windows update locked up on downloading this at 45%,for days ,I finally clicked on the downloading link and then clicked on more info or the next link and it brought me to the support articles for this update. I scrolled down to Microsoft catalog web page and got to the stand alone version. I browsed and saved in my downloads of 500 + megs and then right clicked on the start menu and chose file explorer and chose downloads . and installed it that way. All is good now. If I had to guess as to why, it windows update would not download this update I would have to say either the isp did not want to relinquish control over the content on my computer or the vulture capitalist did not want to release control over my ads.
