[QUOTE="q1w2e3r4, post: 67321, member: 19084"] I have what looks like s serious problem with the Mail app. I updated the Mail app from the Store. When I run it, It briefly comes up, then the screen starts to blink between black and the app and if I wait a few seconds, the system exits the app and the display resolution drops. I get a notification that "the display driver failed to start so it is using MS basic display driver, check windows update". When I run driver update, I am told that I am using the latest display driver. This happens every time and only with the Mail app. In the event log, I get the following error followed by a warning. Please let me know if this is fixable or recommend another mail app. Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 6/18/2017 2:30:43 PM Event ID: 1000 Task Category: (100) Level: Error Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: WIN-OCTFVUC1MUO Description: Faulting application name: dwm.exe, version: 10.0.14393.0, time stamp: 0x57899025 Faulting module name: dwmcore.dll, version: 10.0.14393.1198, time stamp: 0x590284d9 Exception code: 0xc0000602 Fault offset: 0x000fda90 Faulting process id: 0xeac Faulting application start time: 0x01d2e85f138b915b Faulting application path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\dwm.exe Faulting module path: C:\WINDOWS\system32\dwmcore.dll Report Id: 9f8b0683-5f8a-48ed-be62-27297d3acef2 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: Log Name: Application Source: Dwminit Date: 6/18/2017 2:30:44 PM Event ID: 0 Task Category: None Level: Warning Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: WIN-OCTFVUC1MUO Description: The Desktop Window Manager process has exited.
