Just updated to Win 10. Looks like I have or can get full access to all my old files and programs as under Win 7- except Civ IV. I have setup the executable for full read/ write access, and attempted to do the same with all the folders. I have matched the admin/ security settings as close as possible to another game (Sins of a Solar Empire) which is loading without any issue but that doesn't seem to work either. Has anyone else encountered this issue? There really should be a way to access an installed program (which requires the CD in the drive to run anyway) without rewriting the registry or something like that.
