Spilled some water on my laptop keyboard, none of the keys worked. Could boot up and sign on using the on-screen keyboard to enter my password. Opened up a panel 0n the underside of the keyboard then used a a hair dryer on low setting to dry it out. After 24 hours, keys started working. On the next start up, a loud alarm sound went on after the vendor ID screen closed and kept screaming during the blank screen until the lock screen opened. Any idea what is triggering that alarm - and how to turn it off?
