How can I fix the error "MOM implementation can not be found, cannot load? What is it anyway?

I believe that it associated with certain AMD video cards and associated CCC (Catalyst Control Center) software.
You can try the simplest and most often recommended solution, which is.....
Right click the Start Button, choose Device Manager from the context menu
Expand Display Adapters, right click yours and choose uninstall. Then reboot the machine.
If that seems to work, then you're done, at least temporarily
