Monster web video fail,
Microsoft.
Patience is running out.
If you can't even get web video to work properly, something is very wrong.
What happened to all the pretesting?
Get your act together, or I'm going back to Windows 7
One more week untill revert.

They have spiders, and crawlers. They are here, believe me. :)

If they are smart, they will interpret the posts at these sites like,
windows10forums, and tenforums, and use that additional info, for the better.
As in an update.

No issues with any video here.
Really?
Well, good for you. Wish it was good for all, on internet,
no matter which browser is being used.

They have no spiders or crawlers here. What century do you live in, lol? They have a keylogger and malware in their OS. They don't need anyone or thing trolling forums. SMH.

Well, whatever those text robot readers searching the interweb are called these days,
scrapers, harvesters, munchers,
that MS, Google, and others, use to index and process any visible info, into what they find usefull.

It's going to come down to waiting for all parties to meld and approve video playback drivers, and cobweb issues,:)
or us to figure it out! Video streams are so important, these days.

I managed to get MS Edge to play videos now, by turning off internet accelerated graphics.

No luck with playing the get started tutorial. Adjusted settings in AMD global video :(

Partial luck with Firefox, turning off its hardware acceleration, still green, most of the time.
The pre video advertising always works. Playing the same downloaded stream, with local video player works fine.

I know there are issues for some. Some (if not all) are video driver issues. What video card and driver version are you using. I'm streaming youtube video's flawlessly. Including 60fps and 4k videos.

It's one of those combo APU processors AMD A8-3850
Display adapter AMD Radeon HD6550D
Driver Version 15.200.1062.1004

No issues with it on XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1
Only Windows 10.

I see other similar posts about the same problem.
Had mixed Nvidia/Ati cards.

The "get started" video started to work, then stopped the next time I tried.

I'm wondering if most of those having issues are using the drivers Microsoft is force feeding through windows updates. I've blocked those on both my AMD rig and my Nvidia rig.

Was letting Microsoft supply everything, this time.
I just now downloaded the compatable
Catalyst 15.7.1 & Graphics Driver Installer for Windows 10 64-Bit
Rebooted, same issues.

One week to go, then back to Windows 7 or 8.1.
I had made hard drive images, just before installing 10, so not a problem.

I hope it works out for you. I wish I had an idea. I made a disk image too. I've been deciding whether to delete it or not. I haven't had any actual issues, but I'm not thrilled with the keylogger still being there, and the other privacy issues.

Keylogger?
I installed one of those on my computer years ago.
Measures even which mouse button gets clicked, and shows what it clicked on.
I used it for security. It can be used in bad ways, like stealing personal credit card info.

From info I read, there is a very simple monitor software on the 10 Preview.
I doubt if MS would have it on the final release. That's just crazy! :)
Wouldn't most antivirus programs be giving off alarm bells?

No, the keylogger is still there, and it uses Cortana (even if it's turned off) to phone home. And no, Antivirus won't pick it up, because it's part of the OS.

That's why the OS is free. Microsoft is going to make money on it, but not by charging for it. It will by sell advertising, based on data it collects from users. Do a little googling. It is real.

Call it something else besides a keylogger. That records every physical interaction to the device 100%.
People and governments would be sueing someones pants off, if it was that much invasion of privacy.
What does it do exactly? I would like to know, before unplugging every electronic device,
and hiding in the bathroom, with the lights off, with aluminum hat.
If I go on Google, and get to an eyeware site, then leave it.
Turn on computer next day, and go on net again to a completely different site, about something else.
Guess what happens, Google had tracked me to the eyeware site, and now plasters google adds for the eyeware site on any web site, that I go to.
That's why they make billions. We are all being tracked for certain types of information. Mostly to make money from us in a legit way.
I have bigger problems in life to worry about that type of tracking. Nothing in life has ever been private.
I even have a satellite picture of myself. They only take it once a year, so not a lot of tracking there. :)
If a proper update to fix playing video comes out shortly, great, I will use Windows 10, even if there is a creeplogger installed.

If the update does not show up, should I yell louder at Cortana, to get Microsofts attention?
