Mouse keeps disconnecting after windows 10 update 1607

My mouse just keeps disconnecting whenever I am gaming and it's becoming a real annoyance, It was fine before this big windows update, I even tried my old mouse and it does the same thing. I Have uninstalled drivers and reinstalled them but it keeps happening.

That's not the only problem I have had, A few hours ago my mic wasn't coming through on my headset even thought It was definitely working but after reinstalling the drivers that was fine.

Also I have had lag spikes/rubber banding on star wars battlefront.

Nothing was wrong before this horrible update, it's just problem after problem.

Welcome to the Forum.

Something you could try that may resolve this for you is the following:

• Right-click on Start and select Task Manager
• Scroll through the Background processes to locate the process associated for your mouse.
  
  For me that is a process named Logitech SetPoint Event Manager
  
  When you locate the process right-click on it and select Properties
  
  Click the Compatibility tab
  
  Sample Image
  
  
  
  
  
  If you do the 4 steps in this image, you may see some improvement with mouse.
