moving windows between monitors

Whenever I try to move a window between monitors, the cursor gets 'stuck' on the edge if I'm moving the cursor too slowly. Is there any way to turn this off? (It doesn't happen if I'm just moving the cursor, only if I'm dragging a window at the same time.)

the red line represents the border between monitors. Shows trying to move from right to left.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
I haven't had this issue so I can't provide an actual solution except to say.....
The best way that I've found to move windows between monitors is
the keyboard shortcut
Windows logo key + shift + left or right arrow keys (depending on which way you want the window to go)
I can't tell from your image but I assume you have your settings set to "Extend these displays"?
Maybe someone else may have an actual solution.

Thanks for the reply!

I do use the windows+left/right shortcut, but didn't know you could use shift.
I do have it set to "Extend these displays", yes.

here is a .gif of me getting annoyed which might help to illustrate the problem more than a still image: http://i.imgur.com/V6V0X9A.gif
