My system is installed on an SSD disk. I have 3 separate hard drives. These drivers used to stop idle, but now they are constantly working.
The methods I tried are as follows;
1: I tried the disk activity time from the power plan settings at all values between 1 minute and 5 minutes. It does not work.
2 : I stopped the Windows Search service and disable the startup setting didn't work.
3: I stopped the SysMain service and disable the startup setting didn't work.
4: I set No Paging file for HDD drives from Control Panel \ System and Security \ System \ Advanced system settings \ Advanced \ Performance \ Settings ... \ Advanced \ Virtual memory \ Change ... It didn't work.
When looking at disk usage from task manager, it appears to be 0%. There is no application or service using the discs. But drivers do not stop. Normally I wouldn't mind this, but when 3 discs are running continuously at the same time, the vibrations are disturbing as sound.
