NDIS file not found

Getting system error 7000 Realtek NDIS Protocol driver failed to start due to the following : The system could not find the file specified. I downloaded and installed the Realtek NDIS driver for windows 10 with the same result. Where is the system looking for this file? System32>Drivers?
