A mapped drive (Z:) will not connect at startup of Windows 10. If I click on the drive in "This PC", the drive will open and is usable as normal. Very annoying problem. Any suggestions?

Hi Lem,

Just so I understand correctly, do you mean that you can't access the mapped drive unless you first click on it within File Explorer? For example, you couldn't save a Word file to z: without that step?

I'm guessing that when you set up the mapped drive, the "auto-reconnect" option was checked? Does the network share require any authentication to connect?
