Hi Kyoki,
Welcome to the Forum.
Can you confirm which version of Windows 10 you are using please.
Type
winver in your search box and press
Enter to see.
So far as the Volume icon with a Red X:
- right-click on Start
- Select Device Manager
- Expand Sound, Video and game controllers
Check whether a yellow triangle is next to your sound card. You may simply need to right-click it and choose Enable or alternately, choose update driver
It would help if you let us know what is displayed when you expand Sound, video and game controllers too so we can ascertain what you have for current settings. For example if you see listed there High Definition Audio Device that is a default Microsoft users in lieu of IDT Codecs which for some users no longer works properly in Windows 10 and thus they are forced to use this Default, which sometimes you need to enable when starting computer before opening a browser to get your speakers working.
For the Network icon:
- right-click on Taskbar
- Select Taskbar settings
- Scroll down and select Turn system icons on or off
- Turn on Network
I imagine there will be some more to do to get your OS running as expected, so the above is just a starter.
As I said, if you can let us know what Windows 10 version you are using, and more about your computer details, like brand, model number, and sound card / chipset being used that would help us help you.
Regards,
