New Graphics Card,Cleveo p170hm

Hi People, Have had an issue with my not that much used 485m graphics card,So I have acquired a 580m to 'replace , I have been advised it should be a fairly straightforward drop and play especially coming from another Clevo?
My other query is will this effect the Windows 10 installed OR any other programs for that matter?
Sorry I am not that up with things! A tech guy in town is hopefully installing.
