i have had windows 10 on my laptop for awhile, like since xmas, and it recently updated, but when i next booted up my system, only ethernet connection option was available, it works and operates fine here, but i had no wifi option at all, any help??

It's possible your drivers for network adapter were modified during the update, and that may have created a problem.

- Right-click on Start and select Device Manager
- Expand the Network adapters
- Do you see a yellow triangle next to your lan card? You may need to roll back the driver, or reinstall it.
