Not getting windows 10 major updates

Although the Education Edition is a Volume License, generally extended to educational institutions, I would expect it to upgrade normally the same as any other edition in the LTSB.
Are any other students or faculty members with the same installation, experiencing the same problem?
Because the Education Edition is very much like Enterprise and defaults to the Long Term Servicing Branch rather than CB (Current Branch) you may want to read this article, to better understand how updates work in that environment. Security and Fixes versus Feature updates.
