Why is windows 10 so unresponsive? In many situations I can't get windows 10 to respond to key board request inputs.
Even the login screen does not respond sometimes. What is going on? The system seems to get busy doing something and will not respond to the operator! Why? This is not user friendly behavior!

Why is windows 10 so unresponsive?

No idea, but....
In the past few days there have been two very large cumulative updates to Windows 10 and while the process might be transparent, in that it goes on in the background, it still places some pretty serious demands on system resources.
Manually check Windows update, as well as update history and see if you possibly have a reboot pending or several failed attempts at installing updates.
Additionally you may want to check

To see if you are running 14393.969 or higher.
