ntwk start up - no wifi start

after sleep, my network shows "secure" & no internet start, in spite of settings saying "connect automatically"

Welcome to the Forum.

Have you checked your network adapter in Device Manager?
  • Right-click on Start and select Device Manager
  • Expand the Network Adapters
  • Double-left-click on your adapter then select the Power Management tab
    • It is likely set to go to sleep and is not waking up again as fast as you anticipate

Thank you for the response. Unfortunately I have done that & no checks are there ( took 'em off before, but looked again just to chk)
