New hp Beats laptop we have been using for about 2 weeks will suddenly not allow password to be keyed in. It will allow us to key 2 digits, using the number pad, but nothing with the alphanumeric keyboard.
It's a long shot I'm not familiar with HP Beats Laptops. Give HP a Call.
Have you checked Scroll Lock/Number lock keys. They may influence keyboard keying sequence.
Any chance you could possibly use the Ease of Access icon, to bring up the On Screen Keyboard to get you over the hump.
NOTE: Make sure to keep fingers and palm clear of trackpad, if gesture sensitivity is too high it can interrupt keyboard input.
