password reset

Trying to log in to my Microsoft account but forgot my password. I used the reset function and received notification that my password was changed. However when I used the new password to log in to my account after entering the new password I received a message titled "Enter Your Old Password One Last Time" asking me to enter my old password. Obviously, I can't do that. What am I missing here?

Yes I found the same, I was lucky in that after a few goes I found my old password.
But of course if I knew my password I wouldn't need to set up a new account!

Lamont, if you still cannot log in, press Shift key whilst also pressing Restart. This will bring up options to admin resets ect. Good luck
