When and if, I do upgrade to Win 10 am I required to enter a username and password each time when opening Windows 10. The same question applies to Live Mail?

No. You can use Netplwiz command to bypass that.

The same question applies to Live Mail

No. All you need to do is to check the box that says " Remember me and sign me in automatically ".
