Permission to Save

When trying to save an image to my Pictures folder in Windows 10, I receive an error message that states I don't have permission to save in this location and that I should contact the administrator to obtain permission.

I'm the only user on this computer and I'm an administrator. What am I doing wrong? What settings do I need to change to allow me to save in this location? I can save files to other folders, but no the Pictures folder.

Thank you!

Go to C:\Users\YourUserName
right click on the pictures folder and choose properties
Select the Security tab and click the "Advanced" button.
See who the owner of the folder is.
IF it isn't you, change it so it is.
You can use this small utility from here to do it using the Right Click -> Take Ownership after installing the utility

OK....
If you've taken ownership of the parent container "Music" and all child objects (sub-folders and files), then all that is left is to grant your username explicit full control to finish up.
That should cure your issue.
Make sure you cascade the security all the way down to sub folders and files.
If you're not sure how to do that, then post back and I'll help..
