Cannot Upload pictures from camera or card reader. Any way to fix this?

Hello Joe and welcome to the forum.
Are you getting an error message?
Does Windows see the Camera or Card Reader in File Explorer?
Are you certain that the USB cable that you are using is good and that the USB port(s) that you are using have the drivers (chipset) installed?
If all is good as far as you can tell then you might try this. It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't
Unplug your camera and or card reader.
Open Device Manager
From the View menu select "Show Hidden Devices"
Expand "portable devices"
Look for any reference to your Camera and Card Reader
They will generally show as faint icons (not connected)
Right click them and choose uninstall from the context menu.
Close device manager
Reboot your computer.
Plug in you Camera and or Card Reader.
