Windows 10 Pro
Upgrade caused printer to stop functioning.
I've uninstalled printer and reinstalled it with latest drivers from Brother, yet does not help.
I've uninstalled the printer drivers, and let Windows 10 try to find the printer drivers, which it failed to do properly.
I have uninstalled, then used "My printer is a bit older" and it still failed to function.
I have tried the Manual Mode, with TCP/IP settings, and it still fails to function.

I have uninstalled Windows 10, and my printing works without changes, when reverting to Windows 7.
I have deleted the printer, reinstalled windows 10, scanned for printer, found printer, installed it, and it still FAILS TO PRINT
This fixed my son's laptop under windows 10, but not my PC.

Printer: Brother DCP-L2540DW - full network scan/print/NFC printing
Computer: Dell Optiplex 755

Printer on Wireless connection, Computer on Wired connection.

This is dumb, but try it.It has worked for me on two clients "older" printers.

Find a printable file on your computer (doc: txt..etc)

Open it with your default program and select print.
Select the print option. It will then probably have the option to "Find" a printer on your computer.
Chances are, if you get lucky as I did, that it will find the printer you need.
Select it. It will then say it needs to install drivers, which it will do (Where from - dunno)

You will find it will then print. From that time, you will see the printer listed in those available.
