I have exactly the same problem, but have been experiencing it for weeks.
The problem is intermittent, it is not every time I start it up. It is a real pain, and I know rarely close it down for this reason.
Today it took me over an hour and a half to accept my login details.
I am not a computer expert, I am over 60, and all I want to do is switch the thing on and use it. I do not want to learning how to code the registry as stated on a Google search for this problem, which seam more wide spread than you would think.
How is this windows 10 better, at least I could use the older versions when I switched the computer on.
Could this be repaired.
