Problem with an "Alt-A" shortcut

So whenever I am playing a video game that requires me to hold the alt key and move to the left using the A key, It alt tabs out of the game and then some kind pixel select interface pops up allowing me to cut parts of a screen shot or something. This has been a big problem because I looked every where and I couldn't find it when googling for it. Its almost as if no one has heard of "Alt-A". If anyone knows a way to disable this on Windows 10 that would be great.

Can't help. Alt-A on my w10 machine does exactly nothing...except in one application where it moves the author of the selected book into the search box ( Calibre ebook manager)
