pst file issue

I have a lot of message in my .pst 2007 file. Some days ago Outlook started to pop up error: Unable to display the personal Outlook folder. I suppose my .pst might be damaged. Please any suggestions for pst repair.

Welcome to the Forum.

I take it from your post we are talking about an older Outlook 2007 version?!

If that is correct, close Outlook then using File Explorer navigate to:
  • C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12
  • C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12

    The two locations are subject to whether you installed 64-bit or 32-bit version of Outlook.

    Inside the Office12 folder you ought to find an executable file named: Scanpst.exe

    This is an in-box repair tool that can repair the pst files if they have become corrupted.
