Hi,

I upgraded to Win10 before 2016 july 29 but my laptop bugged after july 29. I tried to reinstall but it was not working. I needed to use the recevery cd's I wrote when I bought the laptop. Installing from cd's was working, but I'm now returned to Win7.
Is there a way to re-upgrade to Win10. I suppose Microsoft is able to find I upgraded with my PC MAC adress or with my Win7 product ley.
Thanks for answer.

If you did the free upgrade to W10 before July 29th and it worked for a while...even a day or two, you should be able to re-upgrade any time. MS has the essential details of your machine and the old W7 licence key stored now. It is possible that Windows update will offer the upgrade automatically.

Note: when you went back to W7 did your recovery CDs include W7 SP1? I think your laptop must have been at SP1 for the free upgrade to work but is it now?
