SOLVED Re Windows 10 Upgrade

I am using Windows 7 Pro Ijust read in a thread you lose the ability to choose your downloads unless you are using Window 10 Pro. Since I am using Windows 7 pro will my free upgrade to Win10 be Win 10 Pro or Win 10 home/
thank you for any assistance with this question.

Windows 10 Professional will be the upgrade from Windows 7/8 Professional. Upgrade Editions will follow their previous OS Edition.

Hello Liz and welcome to the forum.
Yes..... as has been mentioned in various resources both here and elsewhere around the internet, Windows Upgrade to Windows 10 will be what they are calling "like for like".
Pro versions will be upgraded to Pro and Home versions will be upgraded to Home.

Trouble, I don't know what it is about that link. MS servers loaded down or something. I've literally checked 3 forums for updated content and it is still loading. Maybe it will load for me a bit later.

Then perhaps try holding the Ctrl key while hitting the F5 key at the same time and see if that might clear the cache and load it.

Looks like the three of us posted an answer almost simultaneously .....

Finally loaded for me, not sure why it took so long though. Your answer was the better one, straight from the source. Three answers are always better than one. :D
