SOLVED Recycle Bin Won't Empty

I have a bunch of stuff in the recycle bin that I want to delete. I selected empty recycle bin but nothing disappears. Anyone with any ideas. Correction. I went off the bin and when I went back on everything was gone. All is well. Thanks.
