Hi, I recently installed W10 and wanted to remove Onerive and I came across only results that said it's impossible to remove it and only can disable or hide it (e.g. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-2f4b25e41751/turn-off-onedrive-in-windows-10), but when I went to startmenu and found the onedrive app, just right click and uninstall, it opened control panel and just uninstalled! What am I missing?

You've only installed the OneDrive store application, rather than the deeper integration from within the OS.
You can remove most traces of it by disabling the service and disallowing some group policy options. The easiest way to do this is probably to use the Spybot Anti-Beacon tool (tutorial here: https://www.windows10forums.com/articles/how-to-disable-windows-10-spying.23/). Take a look at the second "optional" tab and disable OneDrive from there (just be cautious if you use the Windows Mail app, as it can cause problems there if you disable the service fully).
