SOLVED Return to Win 7?

I've lost Administrator privileges somehow and have spent 2 day trying many many MANY suggestions on how to fix it. Failure.

If I restore back to Windows 7, will that reset all the "privileges" so I can start over?

If you do have the Win 7 installation DVD and the product key, then yes. You will start from scratch.

Thanks for your reply, davidhk. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall, though. Hate to lose everything and have to restore from scratch.

There's an option in Win 10 to revert to Win 7 within 30 days of loading Win 10. No loss of data. Does anyone know if that will revert administrator privileges back to the way they were?

That should work.
It will bring you back to Win 7, the way it was where you were the admin and had admin privileges.
