Service registration is missing or corrupt!!

I have itunes, but I had to upgrade it to the newer version, but it did not let me because of problems. I did MS troubleshoot and it told me this:

Service registration is missing or corrupt

Not fixed
Reset service registration
Completed
Potential issues that were checked
Windows Update environment variables are incorrect
Windows Update environment variables are incorrect

Check for missing or corrupt files


I don't know what to do and I am not that good at computers, so please help me!

this is what i did and it didnt help.

Hello and welcome to the forum.
Can you please, right click the start button and select "Run" and type
services.msc
Find "Background Intelligent Transfer Services" and confirm that it is Started / Running, if not right click it and choose Start.
