Sleep shortcut

I have a 'sleep' KEY on my Lenovo T420 keyboard, AND I have a 'sleep' shortcut defined as "C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState Sleep". They do different things, and I like what the 'sleep' keyboard key does much more. Is there a command that will match what the keyboard key does?
