Some applications are not working with 10

We were using Windows 7 OS in our systems. In our office, we are using VoIP services of ThinkTel Communications (http://www.thinktel.ca). Recently we updated the OS to 10. Now the VoIP applications and some other applications are facing some troubles. I think this is some issues with the OS. In the previous version, all these applications were running without any errors. What can we do to rectify this issue?

Hello Jeffrey and welcome to the forum.
There is a tendency to blame Windows 10 for problems with third party software that worked well with Windows 7 but doesn't seem to work as well or at all with Windows 10.

Have you contacted your provider "thinktel" to see if they have any recommendations as to how to configure their VOIP software to work with Windows 10?
OR
IF any of their other customers, who like you, have switch over to Windows 10, might be experiencing similar issues?

IT might be something simple, like a local firewall issue, where certain ports or protocols may need to be opened.

Sounds like an interesting problem and I'd be interested in hearing anything you find out, but.....
It's likely so unique, that unless one of our members is using the same service and experiencing similar difficulty, then it may not be something that can be solved by a general information forum like ours and will more than likely have to be addressed by the provider's support mechanism.
