1/4 of Internet Explorer users are using an obsolete and unsupported version. If you want to use Explorer, go ahead, but you need to update it to IE 11. Better yet, switch to a browser like Chrome or Firefox that automatically updates. (And in my humble opinion, switch to Edge while you're at it.)

I believe most of the problems encountered and glitches after users upgrade to Windows 10 is failure to update Win 7, 8, and IE with the most current updates and security patches and create a pre-upgrade system image and Restore Point. I have installed Win 10 Pro on 2 machines and Win 10 Home on a Laptop. To date I haven't experienced any problems or glitches.
I'm enjoying the new experience of Win 10.
