Special Permissions

I have been trying to delete Windows.old, and a few other unnecessary folders/files, but I "don't have permission from system".

I checked the permissions, I have permission for everything except special permissions. Special permissions is greyed out, and I can't select it. I have taken several steps to get it non-greyed out, but to no avail.

Use the built in "Disk Clean Up" facility. It is in The Administrative Tools folder in the start menu. Right click though, and run it in Admin mode.
