How can I freeze the columns heading titles so they stay at the top of the page regardless of how long the page gets.

Depends on what office package you are using. In Microsoft Excel 2010 click on the [VIEW] tab then click on [FREEZE PANES]. there you have the option to establish freeze panes or just the top row or the just the first column....

In Excel 2000 [application version 9] it's under Window on the toolbar.

Since the two programs have the same roots/origin, LibreOffice shows Freeze Rows and Columns and Freeze Cells under View and OpenOffice may also. I don't have OpenOffice installed on anything just now.
