Super Writemaster no longer working

The above device worked perfectly OK under Windows 7 but now does not even appear as a device under Windows 10. Cannot find any posts drivers to no avail.

The drive does not even spin or light up even with the original CD inserted.

Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.

But the drive not spinning suggests a hardware issue, may need to replace the drive. Or considering availability or cost maybe get an External USB ODD/Optical Disc Drive.

HI George,

have you knocked the computer about a bit recently, it may just be a slipped cable, open the computer case (I assume it is a tower PC?) and check that the cables are firmly seated and not burnt out or something like that!.
