SOLVED Taskbar frozen

My taskbar was frozen. I would click on an icon, and nothing would happen. Even the time was frozen and did not advance. I had a strange icon on the taskbar

After I turned off the computer and then turned it back on, everything was fine, but I am curious as to what the icon was and what happened.

I have the latest version of Windows 10. I did install software for my UPS, but that was a day or so ago. The icon can not be pressed. It is frozen too, and is not on my desktop and disapears after I turned the computer off at the machine, since I couldn't access the power switch as that was frozen too, and then turned it on again.

Problem solved! When I went into place on my taskbar, I saw the icon. It was for the software associated with my UPS.
