SOLVED Taskschd win10 not running at system startup

taskschd.msc has a task setup to start at startup. I can run this task manually from the taskschd.msc but it will not start when my laptop boots up. Any help appreciated.

Hi Quinco,

A couple of things you need to alter.

First, on the General tab under Security Options you want to check the radio button next to Run only when User is logged on rather than your current selection.

Second, also on the General tab under Security Options you also want to check the box next to Run with highest privileges.

Finally, I see you created a Trigger to run on Startup. For that to work you need to create a second Trigger and on this one you select the following as in this sample image below:

That ought to get the result you are wanting.
