Unable to connect to group policy client..

The problem started on Monday the 22nd. On Tuesday the 23rd I followed the instructions on previous posts and did a restore back to Sunday the 21st. Worked fine till this morning and again I cannot connect. I went to the restore but there was no restore point. What else can I do or find a restore point?
