Unable to type in password after update to windows 10 today

My Toshiba Satellite laptop updated to windows 10 this afternoon and now it will not allow me to type in the letter E or the number1. This means I cannot put my password in. Is there anyway I can fix this problem or return to windows 7.

Hi Karen,

at the login screen you can activate the on-board keyboard and use that to type your PW.

I can type into the log on screen but 1, 2, E and T will not type and M, C, X and U double type and Z turns on caps lock. Not sure why this is happening.

Try deactivating the touchpad (mousepad) if you have an external USB mouse, plug that in before starting the laptop!.

What model is it?.

It is Toshiba Satellite L750 about 5 years old. Is this model too old to support windows 10 ?

Try this but you will need an external USB KyBd to get into the settings to get to Device Manager!:
