I do have an 2002 Office XP and all I use is the Word for printing envelopes the way I design. Runs perfectly fine.
unfortunately I have found no other program that cen do exactly that.
Now the Windows 10 Update has a message that Office XP Service pack 3 is ready to install.
However this install is not happening, and the update is again and again trying to download and install it, which fails every time.
This severely slows down the computer wasting the resources.
How do I stop this specific Windows Update to beat this dead horse?
I will NOT be purchaseing the new Office to get rid of this anoyance.
Thanks for any help.

Maybe copy the link into another alternate browser and see if that works.
It should produce a save dialog box looking something like this

Thanks - loaded it into IE and got your window.
But the result is still nothing.
The file (full name) could not be downloaded.
Which makes sense if it is not there to download - Microsoft must have removed it from databases as the rest of XP stuff.
Any other actual help? Hack?
This file is unnecessary probably dealing with the useless Wizard pop up anyway.
I need to know how to disable specific recuring downloads in Windows 10.
What is a the mater with the Windows 10 Updates anyway?
Keeps constantly downloading and reinstalling update for my PC camera that is already reported in history as successfully installed.
Insanely dozens of same updates
I am unable to disable auto updates, have unchecked updates for other microsoft programs being included as the Office SP is, withouty any effect.
thanks for your help in advance.
