Upgrade to WIN 10

The following error showed up:

Error SAFE_OS MIGRATE_DATA: 0xC1900101 – 0x200D

What to do?

Found this on another forum It may apply in part if you are doing the free download or trying to install from an ISO.


"These errors can be caused by ,
Incompatibility of hardware or software on the system
ISO that was created is corrupt, Damaged installation source files, need to recreate it
insufficient space on your C drive (system drive), limited space issue for upgrade.
Remove security and system utility software, Anti-Virus"


So this could be caused if you have an antivirus installed and running

Had a similar problem yesterday upgrading my daughters machine. I disabled active monitoring of Malware bytes and Antivirus programs. The upgrade was successful.
