I have an ativa USB to serial adapter cable. Has anyone found a way to make this adapter work in windows 10? I have an old piece of equipment that I still use and it only has a 9 pin serial bus port on it. The drivers that came with the adapter only work in Windows XP.

Typically, when you plug in such an adapter to a USB port on a Windows 10 machine it simply adds a COM Port to Device manager.
You need to go into the properties of that port and on the "Port Settings" tab configure it to the settings your "old piece of equipment" needs
