SOLVED waiting for update to windows 10 from windows 7 pro

I have a question If I can dual boot and keep window 7 pro and windows 10 pro. how can I do that? I'm waiting for windows 10 pro to update to windows 10 pro to update to windows pro 10. I have reserved windows 10 pro. it says they are validating my pc to update to windows pro 10. it has been 3days + now
I have never had a dual boot on my pc and would to try a dual boot If I can learn how to do that

You need to be patient as MS is rolling out the upgrade. Some are getting straight away and others are waiting like you are. Just be patient, it will arrive.

No....you won't be able to dual boot as this is an inplace upgrade.

The only way to dual boot is if you buy a separate copy of windows 10, partition your HDD and install 10 alongside windows 7.
