Was on Win 10, accidentially restored to Win 7...lost everything!

Hi All, I'm a computer consultant and I have a client who upgraded to Windows 10 successfully. She somehow initiated a system restore point back to Windows 7 and all of her data is gone. How do we get her back to WIn 10 and get her data back?? So stuck right now...

A System restore does not do that.

Sounds more like she may have performed a "reset" and for some reason selected the "keep nothing" option.

To back your data you can use Disk Drill software from http://www.cleverfiles.com/disk-drill-windows.html
This is a easy to use recovery software for Windows. I found the recovery rate is fast. But maybe for some file you have to recover twice because sometime partly recovery happens.
